School

A gift to Helping Hands African Children Foundation (HHACF) means that children get the education that will help lift them, their families and their future children out of poverty.
With your support, we can transform villages mired in poverty into thriving communities that sustain themselves.
With you as a partner, we can provide scholarships to vulnerable children and improve village school facilities.

What that means is simple: thousands of school-age children can go to school and learn.

Remember: for every $50 you give, one child can go to school for a year. Consider contributing the funds to send two, five or even ten children on their way to a brighter future.

Child Hunger and Famine Crisis

Africa children are at imminent risk of starvation, and conditions are near famine. Parts of South Sudan are already in the grips of famine. Children across Africa - including those in Ethiopia, Kenya and the many who have fled to Uganda - are fighting extreme hunger. The U.N. declares this catastrophe the largest humanitarian crisis since 1945.

Our Work in Africa

HHACF has been working to fight hunger, prevent malnutrition and improve the lives of boys and girls in Africa since 2001. Whether we are working with orphaned children in sub-Saharan Africa or emergency relief for refugees in other areas of Africa.
HHACF strives to meet the needs to vulnerable children and their families with lifesaving and life-changing programs. Charities can make a difference, with a hand-up, not a handout.

Helping Hands African Children Foundation aim is to create a safe place where the less privileged Children can strive and go to school.  To achieve the aims, the Charity shop is our first port of call to help us raise funds to begin operations. We also have began to partner with existing orphanages to become recipients of the aid we offer and select certain individual to be our focus of development. We are supporting orphans in schools and we provide food and clothings for them. We create a safe environment for children to grow up and be educated to the highest standard. We are extending these provision all over Africa.

The Synopsis of Girls who fled Boko Haram attacks are being enslaved and raped by human traffickers who then sell their babies.

Helping Hands African Children Foundation is now working in collaboration with the association of orphanage homes operators in the entire southeast to identify, arrest and prosecute such human traffickers. There is no official data to show how many babies are bought and sold each year in Nigeria, nor the number of girls exploited by human traffickers.  The United Nations estimates, however, that "about 750,000 to one million persons are trafficked annually in Nigeria and that over 75 percent of those trafficked are trafficked across the states, 23 percent are trafficked within states, while 2 percent are trafficked outside the country." In our synopsis, survivors of Nigeria's 'baby factories' share their stories. Helping Hands African Children Foundation is a Humanitarian Non Governmental Organization, based in Nigeria, West Africa. Since our inception in 2000 we have been alleviating the course of the less privilege children through our various programmes.  We lo...
